Accelerando through the grades is a collection of Piano pieces, in which each volume explores pieces and issues appropriate to the grade. The book can be used on the build up to the grade and to consolidate progress after the grade. Written by experienced teacher and examiner Gareth Green, all pieces are designed to assist students in their progression to the next level and they can also be used as Sight Reading material for two grades beyond. The pieces embrace all round musicianship by highlighting issues that will be useful in relation to keys, technical demands, expressive qualities, sight reading and aural work appropriate to the grade as well as offering progression from the grade onwards to the next.
